Race Day

All registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

How it works

Each participant will represent Northside or Southside Chicago. The average time will be taken from all Team Northside finishers and all Team Southside finishers. The team with the best average time will be declared the winner.

Timing

The Crosstown 10K will feature the B-Tag Chronotrack timing system. All participants will receive a B-Tag timing device with their bib number. The team with the fastest average time (collected from each participant’s timing chip) will be declared the winner.

Awards

The Crosstown 10K is a team event. All participants will receive a finisher medal when they cross the finish line.
Packet Pick-Up

There are 3 options for picking up your race packet. A photo ID and bib number are needed to pick up your race packet.

Option 1

Pick up your race packet in person prior to the race at:

Option 2

Have a friend or family member pick up your race packet for you (by presenting a copy of your photo ID, and bib number) prior to the race (location, dates, and times listed above).

Option 3

Race Day Packet Pick-Up. For $10.00 per race packet, you can pick up your race packet on race day before the event from 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. You can sign up for this service during the registration process.

Please note only those who register for Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be able to pick up their race packet on race day.
Race Day

On race day, be sure to allow enough time to check in (e.g., parking, gear check, etc.). We recommend participants arrive at least 45 minutes before the race.

Start Time

8:00 a.m.

Race Shirt & Bib Number

Your race shirt and bib number identifies which team you are representing. All participants are required to wear their team specific race shirt and bib number on race day.

Gear Check

Gear Check will be available at the race site.

Photos

All participants will receive free race day photos from Gameface Media. Photos will be available the week following the race and emailed to all participants.

Parking & Transportation

All participants are strongly encouraged to carpool or use public transportation to the race site. If you drive, please allow sufficient time for heavy traffic and street closures due to the race.

Weather Policy

The Crosstown 10K will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to delay, postpone or cancel the event. All registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Swag

All participants will receive an official dri-tech Team Northside or Team Southside race shirt, team specific bib number, finisher medal, and free race photos with their entry.

Course Time Limit

Participants must maintain a 15:00 minute per mile pace. Please note your official time does not begin until you cross the start line.
