Join thousands of Ditkas at Soldier Field for the Miller Lite Ditka Dash. All participants will receive a proper mustache, aviator sunglasses, cold beer, an amazing finisher medal, and a race shirt reminiscent of Coach Ditka's fine wool sweater vest.

After the race, celebrate at the Mustache Bash with cold beer, music, and thousands of mustache-clad Ditkas.

Packet Pick-Up

There are 3 options for picking up your race packet. A photo ID and bib number are needed to pick up your race packet.

Option 1

Pick up your race packet in person prior to the race at:

Wednesday, November 27 (2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
Friday, November 29 (12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)

Option 2

Have a friend or family member pick up your race packet for you (by presenting a copy of your photo ID and bib number) prior to the race (location, dates, and times listed above).

Option 3

Race Day Packet Pick-Up. For $10.00 per race packet, you can pick up your race packet on race day before the event from 8:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. You can sign up for this service during the registration process.

Please note only those who register for Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be able to pick up their race packet on race day.
Race Day

On race day, be sure to allow enough time to check in (e.g., parking, gear check, etc.) before your start time. We recommend participants arrive at least 45 minutes before their wave time.

Wave Start

Wave 1 - 9:00 a.m.
Wave 2 - 10:00 a.m.

The Miller Lite® Ditka Dash is expected to sell out in record time. Once a wave is sold out, we are unable to allow any additional registrations for that wave.

Parking & Transportation

All participants are strongly encouraged to carpool or use public transportation to Soldier Field. If you drive, please allow sufficient time for heavy traffic and street closures due to the race.

Gear Check

Gear Check will be available at the race site.

Photos

All participants will receive free race day photos from Gameface Media. Photos will be available the week following the race and emailed to all participants.

Weather Policy

The Miller Lite® Ditka Dash will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to delay, postpone or cancel the event. All registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Course Details

Distance

5K (3.1 miles)

Start Location

The race will start on Waldron Drive next to Soldier Field. Please note the course does not go through the stadium.

Timing

The Miller Lite® Ditka Dash is a self-timed event. Timing clocks displaying real time will be provided at the start line and finish line to allow each participant to keep track of their time.
Beneficiary

The beneficiary of the Miller Lite Ditka Dash is Special Olympics Chicago.
